Your website live in three weeks: the complete process, step by step

When a self-employed tradesperson gives up on rebuilding their website, it is almost never only about price. It is the fear of a vague project: not knowing what will be asked of them, how many evenings it will swallow, or when it will end. So let us put the process in writing. Here is how a brochure-site project runs, week by week.

Before we start: one call and a fixed quote

It all begins with a twenty-minute conversation, by phone or in person. We talk about your trade, your customers, your area, and what you want the site to trigger: calls, quote requests, bookings.

You then receive a free fixed quote within 24 hours. Fixed means fixed: it is the amount you will pay, not an estimate that drifts along the way. Until you sign it, nothing is committed and you owe nothing.

What we ask you to provide (and it is very little)

This is the part that worries people most, and it is the lightest. We need:

  • Your exact details: trading name, address, phone, email, company number, and the municipalities you serve.
  • Photos of your work. Taken on a phone, they are perfectly good. Ten ordinary ones beat one perfect one.
  • Your logo, if you have one. If not, it is not a blocker.
  • What you do, in your own words. You do not need to write copy: a voice note or a few rough sentences is enough, we handle the writing.

In total this asks about three hours across the whole project, spread over two or three exchanges. Not three hours in one sitting, and never during a working day on site if that does not suit you.

Week 1, structure and copy

We decide together which pages are needed, then write the copy from what you told us. You receive the structure and content to approve. This is when you correct the vocabulary of your trade: nobody knows it better than you.

In parallel we prepare the search side: what Google will display for you, which municipalities to target, how you will be described in search results.

Week 2, design and build

You watch the site take shape at a private address, accessible only to you. You test it on your own phone, in the same conditions as your customers.

This week includes one round of corrections. It is planned, it is included, and it is the moment to say everything, adjustments cost far less before going live than after.

Week 3, going live and handing over the keys

We publish the site, check it is fast and readable on a phone, and declare it to Google so it gets indexed. On the technical side, everything is built for your peace of mind and independence:

  • The domain name is registered in your name, not ours.
  • The source code belongs to you: it is available and handed over upon simple request.
  • The high-performance Azure Cloud hosting is fully managed by us, with zero technical maintenance on your end.
  • Form messages arrive directly in your email inbox, which we can update at any time upon simple request.

In other words: you get a turnkey site with end-to-end infrastructure management, while retaining 100% ownership of your project should you ever decide to transfer it to someone else.

And afterwards?

A website is not a sign you hang up once. We stay available for changes, a new service, recent job photos, a change of opening hours. What is included and what is not is written in the quote, before signature, not discovered afterwards.

Ready to see what yours would look like?

The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Tell us your trade and your municipality, and we will tell you frankly whether a new site will earn you anything, including when the answer is no.
